For larger fractures and chips that have occurred after hours and are causing you pain that cannot be controlled with an OTC pain reliever or extreme sensitivity, if you are an established patient please call our office and leave a message with your name, birthday and call back number as well as send a text to our office number stating what your emergency is. We will respond back to you in a timely manner with instructions.
When you come into the office for a repair of a fracture or large chip please bring as many pieces of your tooth to Dr. Sigman as you can. He’ll discuss with you the best course of action for repairing or preserving your tooth.
When your tooth has been knocked out with the roots attached, time is of the essence because Dr. Sigman has the best chance of saving your tooth within one hour of your injury or accident. Handle your tooth as little as possible and transport it carefully. Replacing it back in its socket is best. If you can’t do this, transport it in a cup or baggie of milk to keep the cells alive and moist. If you are an established patient who has had a tooth knocked out please call our office and leave a message with your name, birthday and call back number as well as send a text to our office number stating what your emergency is.
